Dear Recyclers,
We had a very successful Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day this past Saturday, July 25, in Cromwell. Thanks to everyone who came out to dispose of their hazardous waste properly! After the initial opening, there were no lines, and it was a breeze to get through. If you missed this one, there is another one this coming weekend, August 1st, from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the Colchester-East Hampton Water Pollution Control Facility, 20 Gildersleeve Drive, off Route 66, East Hampton. Middletown residents can attend at no charge. To limit our exposure, we are asking participants to put all the waste safely in their trunks, wear masks and show their drivers licenses through the window. We greatly appreciate everyone's compliance this past weekend. Any questions, let me know!
