Join photographer, author, and Embodying Antiracism Initiative Community Fellow Barbara McClane as she shines a light into her new memoir.   Blessed Not Bitter: The Barbara McClane Journey is a transparent, inspiring, and hope-giving story of McClane’s life challenges, self-discovery and finding her family after 60 years. A reception with refreshments follows the talk. Co-sponsored by Wesleyan’s Embodying Antiracism Initiative, Center for the Arts, and Wesleyan Library.

Looking for more programming? Participate in an LGBTQ+ Preteen Group held every first Saturday of the month, the Queer Teen Craft Night the second Monday of the month, and a Queer Teen Game Night the fourth Wednesday of the month, all centrally located at First Church in Middletown.

This event will be a celebration of 50 years of hip hop through music, poetry, and dance. This event is co-hosted with Middletown High School’s GIFTS and Men of Excellence programs. Lloyd Patrick Henry: From February 3rd to the 28th, The Buttonwood Tree will be featuring the artistic works of Lloyd Patrick Henry. Lloyd is a freelance illustrater with more than 20 years of experience in portraits, cartoons, and logos. He also works in digital and other mediums.

The 34th annual Children's Circus of Middletown 

is coming to town this summer.

MARCH 10: Applications for CIRCUS COUNSELORS 

(must be age 16 or older) due at City Arts Office.
