Memorial Day Holiday Schedule  

Recycling Center - The Middletown Recycling Center will be closed Monday, May 29, 2023 in honor of Memorial Day.   It will be open Saturday, May 27, from 7:00 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.  

Sanitation District - The Sanitation District will be operating on Monday, May 29^th.  There is no change to the collection schedule this holiday week.  Carts should be placed at the curb on their regular collection day.  

The Sanitation District will only pick up the items that fit in the cart.  Excess recyclables, including large corrugated boxes, can be brought to the Recycling Center at no charge.   Food waste can also be segregated and brought to the Recycling Center or 675 Randolph Road at no charge.  Food waste must be loose or in BPI certified compostable bags or paper bags.  No plastic bags or containers.
