Press Release - Memorial Day Road Closures

The City of Middletown’s Memorial Day Parade will start at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, May 29, 2023. 

Road closures will include Main Street from Union Street to St. John’s Square, and Washington Street (Rt66) from High Street to DeKoven Drive. These roads will be closed to traffic starting at approximately 10:00 A.M.

Motorists traveling over the Arrigoni Bridge from Portland will be directed down Hartford Avenue to Route 9. Expect delays/congestion and use caution entering the downtown area as we expect a large increase in pedestrian traffic.
