INFO ON FILM:

Hello! My name is Cara Griffin and I am producing a short film shooting at Kidcity Sunday September 24 - Wednesday September 27. We are NYC-based theater and film artists (mostly graduates from the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU, with some other collaborators we've picked up along the way) and we are producing this project for a new filmmaking collective in Brooklyn called the Neighborhood Film Festival. This film is a coming of age story about two teenage girls who aspire to be clowns as they re-engage with the children's museum they played in growing up. We are looking for more crew members and extras based in Middletown to join our team!

On the production side, we are in need of a gaffer/lighting assistance and a production assistant. If there are interested people who are not available for the full shoot, we could still make that work and would love to hear from them! We would love to have any current Wesleyan students or recent grads. We are shooting in Kidcity the following days:

Sunday Sept 24: 4pm-12am

Monday Sept 25: 12pm-12am

Tuesday Sept 26: 2pm-12am

Wednesday Sept 27: 12pm-4pm

For interested performers, we are looking for extras for a party scene that will take place on Tuesday September 26th. The shoot will entail wearing clown makeup and costumes and we will have a makeup artist on site! Extras would need to be available from 12pm until late (an official end time will be provided closer to the date, but it could be as late as midnight).

This project is strictly volunteer, so extras and crew members will not be paid, but we will be providing snacks, meals, and a great time. :)

Anyone interested can email me at cara.a.griffin@gmail.com and I can answer any questions you may have. Thank you so much!
