Don't Trash Your Pumpkins!

Bring them to Middletown Recreation's Pumpkin Smash on Saturday, Nov. 11, 11am to 2pm at Veterans Memorial Park. We can only accept pumpkins without paint. Other ideas for pumpkin disposal:

Compost them in your back yard; 
Bring them to the Pumpkin Smash event on Saturday, Nov. 11.  You don't have to smash them; but you can and its super fun; 
Put them in a green food scrap bag, if you live in the Sanitation District; 
Drop them off at one of the City's food scrap drop offs.

Veteran's Day Public Works Schedule

City offices are closed on Friday, Nov. 10th. 

The Recycling Center will be closed on Friday, Nov. 10.  It will be open Saturday, November 11, 7am - 11:45am.  

The Sanitation District will be operating normal hours on Friday, Nov. 10.  Please place your carts out for normal service.  Reminder: Sanitation District bills have been reduced.  Official city orange and green bags are mandatory.  Questions?  Call us at 860-638-4850 or email recycling@middletownct.gov.
