Middletown’s Arbor Day Celebration will be held onFriday, April 26, 2024
The City of Middletown Urban Forestry Commission is hosting an Arbor Day celebration on Friday, April 26, 2024. The event will be held at the Wadsworth Mansion, located at 421 Wadsworth Street in Middletown, and will begin at 10:00 a.m. Refreshments will be served. The Middletown Urban Forestry Commission is celebrating Arbor Day by planting trees in honor of community members. The City of Middletown has been named “Tree City USA” by the National Arbor Day Foundation for the thirty-fourth year in a row. This year marks the 152nd Anniversary of the celebration of Arbor Day, which originated in Nebraska and is now observed throughout the nation and the world. |
