911 Public Safety Center Bond
The City of Middletown is holding informational sessions on a proposed bond for this November’s ballot.
The purpose of these sessions is to give voters information on the bond that will authorize $10 million dollars for a new Public Safety 911 Center.
The one hour session is to inform voters on the need and necessity of such a project for the community. There will be time for questions on the project.
The sessions will be held on the following dates, times and locations;
Monday, September 23rd at South Fire District, 445 Randolph Rd at 6:30 P.M.
Monday, September 30th at Westfield Fire District, 653 East St at 6:30 P.M.
Monday, October 7th at Middletown Senior Center, 61 Durant Terrace at 2:00 P.M.
The question on the ballot for the proposed appropriation and bond authorization will read as follows;
“Shall the $10,000,000 appropriation and bond authorization for the planning, design, construction, and equipping of a new Public Safety 911 Center be approved? YES ___ NO ____”
