Urine Nutrient Recycling for Sustainable Food Systems

Join the Rich Earth Institute for a workshop on the paradigm-shifting practice of peecycling: reclaiming human "waste" as a resource to support local farms, prevent pollution, and conserve clean water. We’ll cover Rich Earth’s unique community-scale urine nutrient recycling program, insights from over a decade of research, and spotlights from the global movement for circular sanitation. Together, we’ll reimagine waste and explore strategies for transforming our food and sanitation systems.

Participants are invited to stay after the workshop to explore RECLAIM, a Swedish-designed board game where players collaborate to create their own nutrient futures.
