  1. 3 Foragers Event at Middletown Nature Gardens

    Join the 3 Foragers on an educational walk through paths and forest as we search for delicious wild foods. before heading out onto the trails. We will explore native and invasive plants, and go over responsible foraging guidelies and safety practices. Adults and children 8 and up welcome. Please no dogs. Robert, Karen, and Gillian, aka The 3 Foragers have been studying, photographing, and eating wild plants and fungi since 2005. They have given over 150 educational walks, lectures, and private classes for libraries, land trusts, nature centers, summer camps, and garden clubs since 2016. Preregistration is required and limited. Questions?   2. Track Stories with Miegs Point Nature Center

    Miegs Point Nature Center brings us a wildlife program that helps younger children learn basic animal signs and solve the mystery of “What Happened Here?” Come and create your own story! For young people ages 6 and up. Siblings and families welcome! This event will take place inside in the Activity Room, due to projected high heat and humidity. This event will occur outside on the library lawn, weather permitting, or indoor in the Activity Room if it rains. Registration is required (and will close 24 hours before the event begins).
