Sustainable CT
Sustainable CT is a voluntary certification program to recognize thriving and resilient Connecticut municipalities. Sustainable CT provides a wide-ranging menu of best practices. Municipalities choose Sustainable CT actions, implement them, and earn points toward certification.
Middletown was the first community to sign up with Sustainable CT in 2017. Middletown achieved Bronze certification status in 2018 and the highest Silver certification status in 2019. Middletown's most recent application can be found here.

The Sustainable CT Committee meets once a month on the first Wednesday of the month at 5:30 p.m., before the Clean Energy Task Force. If you need more information, contact the City's Energy Coordinator.
