Dog licensing year is from July 1st to June 30th of each year. You must license your dog if it is over the age of six months. You must provide a valid rabies vaccination certificate and either a neutering or spaying certificate, if applicable, to the Town Clerk before July 1 each year.
A new license will then be issued to you for your dog for the coming year.
We accept cash or checks only. Please mail the appropriate material and fees to our office at:

Upon receipt, we will mail your dog’s license to you. If your dog have never been licensed with us, you can complete the form below, and send it to us with the necessary paperwork and fees.
If you do not license your dog before July 1st of each year, you will be charged a $1 per month late fee for each month your dog remains unlicensed.

Certificates for liquor licensing from the State of Connecticut Liquor Commission must be recorded with the Town Clerk. The fee is $20.
