The City of Middletown will suspend accepting payments for curbside collection of bulk waste on Oct. 21st to prepare for the leaf collection operations. Curbside collection of bulk waste will commence again in the spring. It could commence earlier, if the weather allows. Throughout the winter, contact the Public Works office directly at 860-638-4850 to inquire about the status. It is dependent on snow clearing operations. Keeping the roads safe in the winter is always a higher priority. Bulk material is always accepted at the Middletown Recycling Center throughout the year.
