Please see the Mayor’s Statement about the City’s Bring Your Own Bag Ordinance. Even in healthy times, it’s important to wash your reusable bags. Most stores are allowing you to bag your own stuff into your own bags. If you forget, and need a paper bag, the stores are not required to charge the ten cents during this public health emergency. Remember, the store bags may have been touched by multiple people, so be sure to wash your hands after use and don’t touch your face when you are handling them! Stay safe. Stay healthy. Stay home.
