Middletown is celebrating Earth Day Weekend!
There are so many wonderful ways to celebrate Earth Day, and organizations across Middletown are offering a variety of events and activities to do just that, all weekend long!
From cleaning up our downtown and opportunities to shop an array of sustainable products, to educational opportunities and family friendly activities at Harbor Park, you’re sure to find just the eco-friendly activity for you and your family.
Join us on Saturday, April 23 at the Cinder + Salt Clean from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. and then have some fun at the Earth Day Festival at Harbor Park from 12:00 - 2:00 pm. This family fun event will have children's activities, environmental information, music, food, walks along the river, biking and more!
Activities and details will continue to be listed so make sure to keep tabs on the Facebook event at https://www.facebook.com/events/1007693309852731.
On Sunday, April 24, the City will be distributing compost bins and rain barrels that have been pre-ordered on line at https://rivercog.compostersale.com/. Distribution will be 9:00 - 11:00 am at the Palmer Field Parking lot. Forget to order? Come on down, as we usually have extras!
