The City of Middletown suffered a tremendous tragedy last weekend when a member of our own Department of Public Works passed away. As a result, all Middletown Public Works facilities will be closed on Tuesday, May 16, to honor his life. These facilities include: the Middletown Recycling Center, Highway Garage, the Sanitation District and administrative offices. Trash and recycling that is scheduled to be picked up on Tuesday, will be collected on Wednesday, with the Wednesday routes. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday routes will not change.
