Middletown Repair Café at The dekoven House on June 10 

The Rockfall Foundation, in cooperation with the City of Middletown Recycling & Public Works and RiverCOG, will be hosting a Repair Café on Saturday, June 10, from 12 – 3pm, at the deKoven House Community Center in Middletown. Skilled volunteers will help fix and teach you how to fix your things—saving you money and keeping items working and out of the garbage. Tool use and help are free. Participants are responsible for obtaining any necessary replacement parts. Bring your broken items that fall into these categories:  

Electronics & Electrical
 Jewelry
 Sewing & Mending
 Knife Sharpening (in limited quantities)
 Small Appliances (no TVs or large appliances)
 Woodwork/Furniture
 Laptops
 Bicycles
 Smart Phones & Tablets
 Lamps
 AND MORE

This event is intended to teach people to repair and reuse before buying new in an effort to reduce waste and protect our health and our planet.    Coffee and snacks will be served.   Bring your own cup.  More information can be found at: https://rockfallfoundation.org/event/repair-cafe-at-the-dekoven-house/
