Before you recycle it, check to see if your items can be repaired or reused by someone else. The City holds a Repair Cafe with the Rockfall Foundation and RiverCOG twice a year where expert seamstresses are available to make basic repairs. These events are usually held in the spring and the fall. Sign up to receive recycling notifications to stay informed on future Repair Cafe events or check our Recycling Events and Programs page.
There are several options to recycle textiles in Middletown. All textiles can be recycled at a textile recycling bin at the many of the Middletown Public Schools and the Senior and Recreation Center on Durant Terrace.
