Residents and electors of the City who are interested, may become involved with their community through participation in various City committees, commissions, boards and agencies. These committees cannot complete their duties without citizen volunteers.
There are many committees to consider. Review the list and consider becoming a volunteer. Committees vary in responsibilities, meeting schedules, and terms. See our Calendar to see when the committee’s regular meeting is held. If you are interested in serving on one of these committees, please fill out our Volunteer Form and include your areas of interest or a list of committees you would like to serve on.
All members are appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the Common Council, usually at their regular meeting held the first Monday of most months. Notification will be sent and new appointees will be asked to come to the Mayor’s Office and be sworn in as a member of a committee.
